Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is Carus Animal Health Ltd, Castle Court, 41 London Road, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 9RJ, United Kingdom (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
- The prize draw is open to UK veterinary practices only.
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over and employed by, or acting on behalf of, a UK veterinary practice.
- One entry per practice for the prize draw. Multiple entries from the same practice will not be counted. Multiple entries per practice will be allowed for case study competition.
- The case study programme is open to vets and nurses individually or as a team. Each case study entry will qualify for 1x The Webinar Vet CPD course and entry into the prize draw where the best 5 case studies will receive a £100 voucher per case study, regardless of the number of individuals involved in its creation or submission.
- Employees of Carus Animal Health Ltd, their immediate families, agents, or any third parties directly associated with the administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
- To be entered, eligible practices must book and attend a meeting with a Carus Animal Health representative during the promotional period of 01.10.2025 – 12.12.2025.
- 50% of clinical staff must attend the GIQuest session to be eligible for entry into the draw
- Practices who book and attend a meeting outside of this period will not be entered.
4. Prizes
- Practices that attend a meeting will be entered into a draw to win practice-based prizes, including team gift card vouchers (the “Prizes”).
- The exact Prizes available will be as described in the campaign promotional materials.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
- No cash alternative is available.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
- The first 10 practices to book and attend a session are guaranteed a £100 Lifestyle Ultimate Black gift card prize. This can be redeemed at 300+ of the biggest and best loved UK brands across food, home, fashion and entertainment.
- Practices who book and attend a session during the promotional period will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £500 gift cards. The two winners will be selected at random.
- The draw will take place within 14 days of the closing date.
- Winners will be notified by email or phone within 14 days of the draw.
- If a winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Case Study Programme
- Clinicians that participate in the GIQuest Case Study Programme, as communicated by Carus Animal Health Ltd, are eligible to win additional prizes as outlined below
- The promotional period for the GIQuest Case Study Programme runs from 01.10.2025 to 01.03.2026, unless otherwise stated.
6.1 Eligibility
- The Case Study Programme is open to UK-based veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses, entering either individually or as a team
- Multiple case study entries per practice are permitted.
- Each submitted case study will be treated as a single entry, regardless of the number of individuals involved in its creation or submission.
6.2 How to Enter
- To enter, clinicians must submit a completed GIQuest case study in line with the official Case Study Guidelines provided by Carus Animal Health Ltd.
- Only fully completed and eligible submissions received within the promotional period will be considered.
6.3 Prizes
a) SPVS Congress Ticket Incentive
- The first five (5) eligible case study entries received before 23:59 on 31.01.2026 will each receive one ticket to SPVS Congress, valued at £675.
- SPVS Congress will take place in Birmingham on 26–27 February 2026.
- To be eligible for this prize, entrants must:
- Not have attended SPVS Congress previously; and
- Not already be registered to attend the 2026 Congress.
- Eligibility will be verified by the Promoter, and the Promoter reserves the right to withhold the prize if eligibility criteria are not met.
- Travel, accommodation, and any additional costs associated with attending SPVS Congress are not included.
b) The Webinar Vet CPD Course
- The first twenty (20) eligible clinicians to submit a GIQuest case study during the promotional period will each receive one free gastrointestinal CPD webinar course provided by The Webinar Vet, worth £125 + VAT.
- Course access is subject to availability and the terms and conditions of The Webinar Vet.
c) Gift Card Prize
- All eligible case study submissions received during the promotional period will be entered into a judging process.
- The top five (5) case study submissions, as selected by a Carus Animal Health Ltd representative, will each receive a £100 gift card.
- Judging will be based on predefined criteria including clinical relevance, quality of submission, and effective use of GIQuest.
- The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.4 Prize Conditions
- All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable, and no cash alternative is available.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
6.5 Use of Case Studies
- By entering the Case Study Programme, entrants grant Carus Animal Health Ltd the right to use submitted case studies (with appropriate anonymisation where required) for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes, including but not limited to digital, print, and presentation materials.
7. Publicity
- By entering, winners agree that the name of their practice and author of the case study may be used by the Promoter in marketing communications and promotional activity, unless otherwise agreed.
8. Data Protection
- Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy and applicable data protection law.
- Data will only be used for the purpose of administering the prize draw and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
- Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring that all information and materials submitted as part of their case study, including any images or personal data, comply with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR. By entering the competition, entrants confirm they have obtained all necessary permissions and consents for any personal data, images, or third-party content included in their submission.
9. General
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical fault, technical malfunction, or any kind of network, server, or software failure.
- The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
- The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
